Rafinha New Contract for Barcelona

The Brazilian superstar who is currently injured has signed a new contract with Barcelona. "FC Barcelona announced on Monday morning that an agreement has been reached with Rafael Alcántara, ‘Rafinha’, to extend his contract until 30 June 2020. His buyout clause has been set at 75 million euros, and the new contract will be signed over the next few days".Having joined Barcelona at a very young age in 2006, the attacking midfielder came up through the ranks of the La Liga giants’ youth setup. He was promoted to Barcelona’s B team in 2011. He was on loan at Celta de Vigo where Luis Enrique was the manager helped him get better an turn him in the power house he is today in the 2013-14 season. In the summer, that year, Rafinha returned to Barcelona and Luis Enrique was made manger of Barcelona.The Brazil international continued to shine for Barcelona until of recent where a player on AS Roma injured him very badly in a Champions league game.Rafinha tore the cruciate ligament in his right knee and is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines. But the fans would be excited that the superstar has committed his future to their club.
