Rafinha New Contract for Barcelona

The Brazilian superstar who is currently injured has signed a new contract with Barcelona. "FC Barcelona announced on Monday morning that an agreement has been reached with Rafael Alcántara, ‘Rafinha’, to extend his contract until 30 June 2020. His buyout clause has been set at 75 million euros, and the new contract will be signed over the next few days".Having joined Barcelona at a very young age in 2006, the attacking midfielder came up through the ranks of the La Liga giants’ youth setup. He was promoted to Barcelona’s B team in 2011. He was on loan at Celta de Vigo where Luis Enrique was the manager helped him get better an turn him in the power house he is today in the 2013-14 season. In the summer, that year, Rafinha returned to Barcelona and Luis Enrique was made manger of Barcelona. The Brazil international continued to shine for Barcelona until of recent where a player on AS Roma injured him very badly in a Champions league game.Rafinha tore the cruciate ligament in his right knee and is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines. But the fans would be excited that the superstar has committed his future to their club.

Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich And why Arsenal lost

Arsenal have never not qualified for the Champions League knockout stages under Arsene Wenger until now. However the Premier League giants are now under a lot of pressure to turn it around in Europe. The Gunners were blown away by an inspired Bayern Munich side in a must win game. After their defeats against Zagreb and Olympiakos which should of never happened, Wenger was under pressure to win the next two group games. Arsenal responded with a stunning 2-0 win against Bayern Munich at the Emirates, but Pep Guardiola delivered on his promise and dismantled the Londoners in Munich yesterday. The former Barcelona boss promised that Arsenal will not be able to beat them at the Allianz stadium which is Bayern's home and fortress, and that Bayern would have their revenge which they got after a 5-1 win. Arsenal lost because of Defensive frailties, Lack of planning to deal with injuries Arsenal were without Rosicky, Arteta, Wilshere, Welbeck, Chamberlain, Walcott, Ramsey, Bellerin, Koscielny and Ospina for their game against Bayern Munich. Also because Bayern are the best team in Europe other than Real Madrid.

Favorite Team Real Madrid

Real Madrid Club de Fútbol or Real Madrid, or simply as Real, is a professional football club based in Madrid, Spain and my favorite team since I was a child. The team has played its home matches in the 85,044-capacity Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in downtown Madrid since 1947 and if you see the stadium it is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Real Madrid is the most valuable sports team in the world, worth €2.5 billion  and the world's highest-earning football club for 2013–14, with an annual revenue of €549.5 million Because they are the best team in the world. Real is one of the most widely supported teams in the world especially for bandwagon fans. Real Madrid is one of three founding members of the Primera División or Liga BBVA that have never been relegated from the top division. Madrid has won five consecutive European Cups, and reached the final seven times. This success was replicated in the league, where the club won five times in the space of seven years because the team is absolutely amazing. Real consisted of players such as Di Stéfano, Ferenc Puskás, Gento, Raymond Kopa, and Santamaría, some of the best players to ever step on a field Puskás even has a award for best goal named after him. Real Madrid is the greatest team of all time at least to me any many more people. One day I dream to play for them and wear the beautiful white kit and be apart of that prestige.

My Idol Pele

My idol and who I would love to have a piece of his skill and magic is Edson Arantes do Nascimento,
known as Pelé, And he is a retired Brazilian professional footballer who played as a forward like me. He is widely regarded to be the greatest player of all time. He was voted World Player of the Century. And Time named him in their list of 100 most influential people of the 20th century. He received the FIFA Ballon d'Or Prix d'Honneur in recognition of his career and achievements as a global icon of football. Pelé is the most successful league goal scorer in the world, with 541 league goals. In total Pelé scored 1281 goals in 1363 games, including unofficial friendlies and tour games,  I would dream to achieve half of that. During his playing days, Pelé was for a period the best-paid athlete in the world. In Brazil, he is hailed as a national hero for his accomplishments in football and for his vocal support of policies to improve the social conditions because back then a lot of people in brazil were poor. I would dream just to begin the same room as him, I dream to be just like him. he was a genius on the field and a hero off the field and I hope to do the same.

School

Nobody likes school is something that is mandatory and most kids are forced to go. As a student athlete life is a lot harder from personal experience. I go throughout my day listening to boring topics that I don't find myself using ever in my life time. But I have to do the work and actually listen or else I won't play for my schools team. Playing a sport for your school maybe one of the best experiences and worst if you don't manage your time right. I barley have anytime for home work so any little spare time I get I need to utilize it.  The teachers don't base their schedules around when I get out of practice or if I'm tire after a game. Being a student athlete is one of the toughest things to manage some people can't manage and quit, People break down from stress and some people just give up on school. For me personally I play for a club outside of school so I get home around 10:30pm and by the time I eat I go to bed from exhaustion. I still get what I have to get done but its stressful being so busy and everyone is expecting something from you on and of the field. My life is hectic but its what I do to play the game I love and to graduate on to bigger and better things.

How I Fell In Love With Soccer

Soccer, The beautiful game that I've come to love. Soccer to me isn't just a sport its my passion its what gets me through the day. I started watching soccer as a kid around 8 years old, my dad introduced me to the beautiful game because he worked for a business based in England and started to love the game and shared with me. the first player I've ever seen play and is still my favorite player was Cristiano Ronaldo. The way he weaved through players and the fact that he made a sport into entertainment by doing all various types of flashy tricks. Growing up he became my idol, my father bought me my first soccer ball and I would run around the house trying to mimic Ronaldo. My parents could see that I love the game and they put me on my first travel team when I was 11. Previously before soccer I played american football but that didn't work out considering I was only 4 feet tall. And as any preteen I wasn't in the best of shape when I started my first practice I puked in front of everyone because they made me run like I've never done before. As a kid I wasn't the best player on the team but I knew the game more than anybody I watched it all the time. I was put as a defender as a fan of a player that does flashy tricks and scores goals I wasn't happy about it. I became a great defender and switched to a better team when I switched they still put me as a defender I was so mad but it helped me become well rounded. By the second season with that team I begged the coach to put me at forward or at least midfield and they put me in midfield that whole year and I scored my first goal ever, I've been playing soccer for 3 years and never scored so you can imagine when I scored my first one. Once i started scoring I couldn't stop and I became the best player on the team scoring 15 goals with 20 assist in one season. I outgrew the team they weren't pushing me to a level I needed so i switched teams again to the club I play for now. And Ive become a forward and a good one and I continue to push myself to a new level.

Injury!

Being injured is tough, I find myself watching my team practice for hours and not being able to participate. I'm dying to get on the field but my body won't let me. my injury challenges me daily mentally and physically. People treat me different than when I'm without a boot, people treat me as if I was a newborn child and try to patronize me as if their pity makes my day any better. It doesn't help that this big boot is the most unattractive thing I've laid my eyes upon but thats the least of my problems. My injury is temporary(thank god) so I just have to go through it and when i come back work ten times as hard.
